Spring Equinox: Happy Zodiac New Year!

March 20, 2018

Today is a day to focus on growth and new beginnings. The sun brings its brightness to Aries, the first sign of the zodiac, famous for its great get-up-and-go energy. And it is the equinox, the first day of spring in the Northern Hemisphere, heralding the brand-new season on the horizon.

Find a quiet space and make yourself comfortable. Take one slow, deep breath to reconnect to your own magic. Then dive all the way into this vision and see what happens.

SPRING EQUINOX

Take a few breaths until you really start to feel yourself on the edge of a new season.

In your mind’s eye, see yourself emerging from a great dark forest, representing the winter we have just passed through. And as you stand on the edge of this forest, right in front of you is a beautiful, elegant bridge stretching across a chasm with a great river flowing beneath it. On the other side of the bridge you can just make out meadows and fields of the brightest, purest green.

Breathe deeply and really feel that forest of winter behind you, and suddenly you know instinctively that the first step you take onto this bridge magically represents the way you are going to move through and enjoy this new season of spring.

If you have a wish, some good intent, some vision for spring, bring it to mind and embody the person you need to be to experience that. Then take a deep breath and step onto that bridge embodying that energy and intent. With the second step you take onto the bridge, feel the universe really clicking into place and feeling your essence and receiving your requests.

Now walk to the middle of the bridge and stand at the very center. Look down into the powerful river, watch it flow like the flow of time, and stay awake for any insights.

(Read this last section, then close your eyes, enter the vision, and experience it!)

When you are ready, cross the bridge completely. Step into that magical meadow filled with bright green plants, wildflowers, and vines everywhere. Smell the sweet scent of spring on the breeze and hear the hum and whir of hummingbirds.

Take a breath and really arrive here in spring. By the time you inhale again, a beautiful guide will appear in front of you.

Gracefully pair up with the first guide who arrives. This is the perfect teacher to help you craft your vision for spring. Let this guide bring you fresh ideas not only about what you might do in this new season but also the best ways to enjoy yourself as you live within it.

Do that now.
