Venus in Aries: Flip the Script

March 6, 2018

Today, fair Venus moves into Aries, the sign of her “detriment.”

The fiery, individualistic realm of Aries is a tricky spot for the goddess of beauty and love. Her charms and power of attraction don’t work as well here as they usually do.

But perhaps we can flip the script. Remember, Venus is also the planet that shows us what feels good and what doesn’t. Combine that with the bright light of Aries and illuminate what is truly working for you, then burn away the rest.

Find a quiet space and make yourself comfortable. Take one slow, deep breath to reconnect to your own magic. Then dive all the way into this vision and see what happens.

Give yourself a few conscious cycles of breath and start to connect to your free will.

Begin to sense, see, or feel a violet-colored flame surrounding your entire body and extending a little bit into the air around you. You are resting, meditating, floating within this otherworldly purple flame.

Let yourself begin to feel really good, your vibration elevated within the magic of this violet flame.

Receive the kind of healing and wisdom that cannot be explained in words. Let the energy of the flame erase everything you no longer need and prime you for all the wonder that is coming next.

When you are ready, release the flame from around you and then see two objects drifting slowly down from the sky.

One is a bright lantern shining with purple light and the other is a violet-colored sword. You catch both these sacred objects in your hands.

(Read this last section, then close your eyes, enter the vision, and experience it!)

As you rest here, shine the light from the lantern on every idea, memory, fear, fantasy, or emotion that shows up in your awareness. Let them all be known.

Anytime anything arrives that you are really and truly through with, slice through it with the violet sword and watch its energy escape and release. Watch it vanish into the natural nothingness it really is.

Do this over and over until you feel a subtle but profound sense of completion.
