Unlimited possibilities, but be strategic.
In the Chinese zodiac, Goat is the only animal that can climb high enough to see the high-flying Dragon. This puts them a little at odds. Goat puts in the effort for the climb. Dragon has the vision and simply takes off into the sky. Because of this, Dragon may not fully appreciate how much patience, effort, and surefootedness it takes to navigate the opportunities and risks that 2027 brings. This year, Dragon benefits from being grounded and making deeper connections. Dragon tends to believe in itself and trust its ability to succeed. Goat, on the other hand, trusts slowly and carefully. In 2027, Dragon may benefit from borrowing a little of Goat's caution.
When you think of the 12-year cycle like a year on the farm, Dragon is at the beginning of the seed-tending season. This is like the start of summer. The seeds planted in spring are beginning to take hold, and now it's time to see which ones sprout. These are the projects, plans, and new directions you've been developing over the last three years. This is the time to focus your attention on what is showing the most promise.
The natural element of Dragon is Wood, and 2027 is a Fire year. Wood feeds Fire, and it continues feeding the flames until there is no Wood left. Dragon may see endless possibilities this year and feel excited to pursue them all. The challenge is remembering that every opportunity comes with both potential rewards and potential risks. If Dragon rushes ahead without looking at the downside, it can quickly use up its resources, money, and energy. This can be a successful year, but success comes from evaluating opportunities carefully before making a commitment. Your keyword for this year is: due diligence.
