Adjust your plans to gain opportunities.
Goat climbs the mountain to gain a better view of the landscape. Rooster sits on top of the barn for much the same reason. From there, Rooster can see what's happening around the farm and sound the alarm when needed. These two energies work well together. Goat provides insight, and Rooster puts those insights into action. Rooster is more comfortable in the spotlight, and Goat is happy to let Rooster receive the recognition. This is a year when you can accomplish far more than you expect.
In 2027, when you think of the 12-year cycle like a year on the farm, Rooster is in the middle of seed-saving season. Think of this as the middle of winter. There's still food in the pantry and a warm fire to gather around. This is the time to take stock of your resources, review your investments, and make the most of what you've already built. Your experience, reputation, and long résumé continue to create opportunities worthy of your talents. Others recognize your knowledge and may seek your advice or invite you into leadership roles. Build on your strengths this year rather than trying to reinvent yourself. There will be plenty of time to explore new territory when your next cycle begins.
The natural element of Rooster is Metal, and 2027 is a Fire year. Fire melts Metal, asking you to become more adaptable. Your greatest opportunities come when you're willing to bend a little without losing your sense of who you are. A new job may offer higher pay but require a longer commute. A new relationship may bring love and companionship, but you might have to give up sole possession of the television remote. You don't have to compromise your values, only your expectations. Small compromises can bring surprisingly large rewards this year. Your keyword for 2027 is: flexibility.
