Weekly Horoscope: February 2, 2026 to February 8, 2026—Prepare To Unleash Your Roar

Each year, as I map out the stars, I always pay extra special attention to the lunations—whether they’re a new moon, a full moon, or an eclipse. Each of these cosmic markers provides a turning point in our months—and sometimes for our entire year. Full moons are when the sun is exactly opposite the moon—causing us to “face a crisis” between ego and emotion or our yin and yang energy. Full moons obviously cast their light brightly in the heavens and thus they can be felt for days before and after, too. That’s why this week’s energy will be especially consumed by the full moon in Leo—even though it technically “peaked” on February 1.

The Energy Profile of This Week

A full moon in Leo always brings a great fire within us, burning with intensity, desire, and passion. Because of this—and the aspects that this particular full moon makes—with direct oppositions to Mars, Venus, and more distantly Mercury and Pluto, there could be an immense need to satiate our rapturous hunger at this time—especially when it comes to relationships. Yet, it may be especially important to pay heed to the yin and yang energy likely taking place now, which can work for or against us. For instance: this could be a time of great union and synergy between opposites, but also a time of separation if our needs are not being met. Also, be aware that we will experience a lunar eclipse at the onset of March—which means that we may be feeling some of that electricity and emotion already beginning to creep in, as if we can just “sense” something major is around the corner.”

Uranus, the Great Awakener, also will shake off its retrograde slumber in the distant fields of Taurus on February 3. Whenever a planet freezes like a lantern in the sky and then switches directions, we often see something very specific pivot in our lives, as well—whether that’s us, another person, or a situation we’re involved within. Uranus rules freedom, the future, eccentricity, surprises, and to a degree our communities, so there could be something around these themes that is brought to our attention personally or globally this week. Taurus rules material wealth, income, global ecosystems, currency, and has ties to business and the economy, so these ideas, too, may rock and roll near this time.

Mercury, our planet of the mind, will dive into the deep and vast seas of Pisces beginning February 6 until April 14, 2026—a tremendously long time because it will experience a retrograde in the weeks ahead. In Pisces, Mercury feels extremely uncomfortable because it is in the sign of its detriment and fall. This means that we won’t be thinking logically at this time, as our emotions, subconscious, dreams, fears, and inner worlds will overwhelm our thoughts completely. Do your best to center this energy if you can.

As for our cosmic vibes, just be aware that February 5 could bring some shocking news or miscommunication, while February 8 could elicit jarring news around relationships or beauty—or could bring the spice and spontaneity you’re looking for!
