June 2026: The Luckiest Month of the Year is Here

June 2026 is a turning point. Not only does it bring the summer solstice and warmer months, it also asks us to go within to create the most productive emotional bonds, while shining in our authentic light. June is one of the luckiest months of the year, because the greater benefic, Jupiter, planet of abundance and luck, moves into Leo, giving us the ultimate boost to heal our fears around being seen. This month is reminding us that to be the most productive member of society, we must first do the work within to become the highest version of ourselves.

Mercury Enters Cancer 

To kick off the month, on June 1, Mercury, planet of communication, moves into Cancer. Cancer is ruled by the moon and is often seen as the most sensitive of all the zodiac signs. Mercury wants to express, and Cancer wants to nurture and protect. Mercury moving into Cancer calls for gentle and intuitive communication. Communication that “reads the room” and adapts speech to the needs of the receiver. Don’t be shy – let your words drip with feeling and deep sensitivity. You won’t regret it. 

Venus Joins Jupiter 

On June 9, Venus joins Jupiter in Cancer, where it’s exalted or in “high esteem.” Venus is the planet of love, beauty, and abundance. The abundance of Venus is receptive in nature and its abundance comes from embodiment, not excess action. Jupiter brings abundance and expansion to whatever it touches. These two benefic planets join in the sign of home, family, and emotional fulfillment, making it an ideal time to deepen relationships and expand emotional bonds. It is also a positive time to do anything with real estate. This may be one of the luckiest days of the year. Also, your intuition or gut instincts could be very active on this day.

Venus Enters Leo

On June 13, Venus moves into Leo. Leo wants to bring light and be seen for its authentic creativity. Together the energy will attract blessings with your natural charisma and authentic light. It is a great time to launch something creative or be visible in some way. Add some extra dramatic flair for good measure! Put your work out into the world and trust that your customers / audience will come! 

The New Moon in Gemini Brings Duality to Manifestation

On June 15, there is a new moon in Gemini. New moons are potent opportunities for manifestation. Even farmers track new moon cycles to determine when to plant crops. Why not use the same method to “plant manifestation seeds”? Here are the ways to maximize the energy of the new moon: 1. Timing – manifest as close to the new moon as possible. 2. Align your manifestations with the “themes” associated with the sign of the new moon. The Wounded Healer Enters Taurus

On June 19, Chiron – the wounded healer – moves into Taurus. This will bring a reckoning with the beliefs about our self-worth that hold us back from achieving the abundance and material stability that we desire. A common challenge with this position is a scarcity mindset, and not trusting the longevity of abundance. Another challenge is basing your internal self-worth on external validation. Chiron will remain in Taurus for approximately 8 years. During this time, the asteroid will demand we face what hurts us so we can use that pain as medicine to heal and evolve.  

The Sun Enters Cancer to Officially Kick Off the Summer Months

On June 21, the sun moves into Cancer and the summer solstice commences, officially kicking off the astronomical summer. The sun in Cancer brings light to initiating (cardinal) strong emotional ties, bonds, and feelings. This energy is a strong match for warmer months that encourage increased connection. The sun will join Venus and Jupiter for a short time (two benefics). What a wonderful way to kick off the summer! The sun in Cancer brings love, compassionate care, emotional sensitivity, and intuition. Beware of boundaries and overextending yourself.

The Planet of Action (Mars) Enters Gemini

Mars is the planet of energy, passion, and action. Gemini rules communication, learning, and thinking. These planets coming together results in exerting energy primarily towards all matters of the mind. You may find yourself verbally sparring with others and liking it! Flirtation and witty banter may be of interest. Beware of an overactive mind. Use physical activity to release that energy in order to avoid anxiety and nervousness. 

Mercury Goes Retrograde in Cancer in Opposition to the Full Moon in Capricorn

On June 29, Mercury stations retrograde in Cancer in opposition to the full moon in Capricorn. Mercury retrograde happens 3-4 times per year. It is a great time for what Astrologer Jessica Lanyadoo calls the “Three R’s”: Review, Reflect, and Reset. Mercury will be in the water sign of Cancer. Go inward to focus on emotional thinking or communication patterns. Jupiter Moves Into Leo

Also on June 29, Jupiter moves into Leo. This brings expansion to creative expression, confidence, charisma, and VISIBILITY! It may also increase the desire to be generous. This is a once in 12-year transit. Alchemize this energy to heal any fears around being seen. Putting yourself out there to showcase your gifts will bring luck. Watch out for expansion of the ego or being overly competitive. Remember, Jupiter expands EVERYTHING it touches – good or bad.
