Most months, we have a single full moon and a single new moon. This is pretty standard and what we are used to. However, due to the timing of the lunar cycle, sometimes we have a rare month with two full moons in it. This month is one of those! The full moon in Sagittarius appears on May 31, which will be called a blue moon. This isn’t because the moon will actually look blue, but because it just symbolizes the arrival of the second full moon in a month. With it igniting the fiery heavens of Sagittarius, we may feel more eager for adventure. We may hunger to step outside of our comfort zones and experience more of what life has to offer. This lunation reaches its peak on May 31, but can be felt a few days before and after.
