Five days ago, Mercury and Saturn appeared to be two Keystone Cops acting comically and a bit unhinged — at least from the logical, pragmatic viewpoint of human souls struggling to get on with their lives on an often meandering Spaceship Earth. Mercury now forms an abrasive, 45-degree link with its higher-octave guardian Uranus (12:33AM) shortly before the Moon in Leo squares off with Saturn in Scorpio (3:52AM) — as this 90-degree aspect also starts a fairly long void lunar uncertainty zone that lasts until 11:25PM tonight. Gaining traction with Mercury, Uranus, the Moon and Saturn trying to hinder your progress is definitely an exercise in futility.
Mercury entering the air sign that it rules — Gemini — at 7:58AM sounds intriguing relative to communications and literary endeavors, but its onset during a void-of-course Moon is not encouraging. The Sun also makes an attempt to rekindle healing vibrations during a supportive, 60-degree liaison with Chiron (6:04AM). Even Pallas gets into the positive act by making its monthly conjunction with the Moon in Leo (7:37PM) — energizing strategy sessions and innovative thinking.
Nonetheless, Venus temporarily turns to the Dark Side of the Force via a frictional, 135-degree contact with Saturn (9:05AM) and a contra-parallel with Chiron (1:41PM). Mercury returns to its recent disturbing behavior patterns by making a caustic, 45-degree tie with Jupiter (9:15PM). There appears to be little rhyme or reason for what many of the celestial bodies are now doing during their orbital maneuvers. This tends to wreak havoc in earthly matters.
One piece of good news very late is when the Moon ends its 19+ hour void-of-course journey in fiery Leo by entering earthy, meticulous Virgo (11:25PM). Think more along efficient and organizational lines as you drift sleep-walking into Thursday. [Note to readers: All times are calculated for Pacific Daylight Time.
