This Week’s Sports Predictions: September 18 – September 24, 2023

Welcome to Sports Astrology Predictions, where we take a look at the astrology of competition in a bid to predict who will come out on top!  

All sport is ruled by the planet Mars.  The position and condition of this protective and combative planet has a significant, base-line influence on the outcome of all competition.

This week, Mars gets to hang out some more with Venus as she slowly awakens from her retrograde loop to become the morning star.  More aggressive than usual, Venus will feed Mars with all the adrenaline he needs, coaxing the warrior to perform at his very best.  But with the taskmaster Saturn lurking in the background, this performance will not come without some form of delayed gratification.  Patient passion is the key.

We begin this week’s predictions on Sunday at noon with a gridiron football game between Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints.  Here, a silent but deadly Capricorn moon gets it on with Pluto for a ripper of a match where hidden agendas rule and anything goes.  Then on Sunday afternoon to another football game between Kansas City Chiefs and Chicago Bears where the continuing onslaught of an ambitious Capricorn moon controls the action for a massive finale. Finally, on Sunday evening to a gridiron football game between Las Vegas Raiders and Pittsburgh Steelers where the volcanic Capricorn moon erupts for a thrilling climax.

Game 1

NFL

Green Bay Packers -v- New Orleans Saints

Sunday 24^th September @ 12:00 pm – Green Bay, Wisconsin

Sunday at noon at Lambeau Field and to a gridiron football game where home team Green Bay Packers invite New Orleans Saints onto their turf.  With the waxing Capricorn moon ready and willing to fight to the very end, this will be a cracker of a contest, especially with Saints’ slippery quarterback, Piscean sun Derek Carr and his feral Leo moon blooded and ready to pounce.  But it appears that it will be Packers’ handy quarterback, Gemini sun/Mars combo Sean Clifford and his illusive moon/Neptune double whammy the flavor of the day, who will get the opportunity to quiety sideline his opponents for a hometown showdown.   Green Bay Packers to win.

Game 2

Kansas City Chiefs -v- Chicago Bears

Sunday 24^th September @ 3:25 pm – Kansas City, Missouri

Sunday afternoon at Arrowhead Stadium and to a gridiron football game where home team Kansas City Chiefs welcome Chicago Bears onto their field.  With the shadowy Capricorn moon on the rise, this will be a highly unstable and fickle fight, one way or the other, especially with Bears’ stealthy quarterback, Libra moon Justin Fields and his passive/aggressive Libran Mars overseeing the action.  But it appears that it will be Chiefs’ super-stud quarterback, tricksy Gemini moon Patrick Mahomes and his own Libran Mars taking control, who will grab the chance to bring it home to the delight of a roaring crowd.  Kansas City Chiefs to win.

Game 3

NFL

Las Vegas Raiders -v- Pittsburgh Steelers

Sunday 24^th September @ 5:20 pm – Las Vegas, Nevada

Sunday evening at Allegiant Stadium and to a football game where home team Las Vegas Raiders meet up with Pittsburgh Steelers.  Under the intense and ambitious rays of a plutonic Capricorn moon hovering in the ethers, this will be a sizzler of a match where the weakest link in the chain will be exposed, especially with Raiders’ quarterback, team player Libra sun/Mars combo Jimmy Garoppolo and his Virgo moon lit up by the sun.  However, it appears that it will be Steelers’ solid quarterback, Taurean sun Kenny Pickett and his powerful fixed star Aldebaran-laced Mars/Mercury duo, who will be the one to hit the target with bulls-eye precision.  Pittsburgh Steelers to win.
