This Week’s Sports Predictions: August 1–7, 2022

Welcome to this week’s Sports Astrology Predictions where we take a look at the astrology of competition in a bid to predict who will come out on top!

Generally speaking, all sport is ruled by the planet Mars. It is the position and condition of this protective, combative “warrior” planet that has a significant, base-line influence on the outcome of all competition.

Over the past month, Mars has been turning up the heat and, now, the warrior is well-seasoned in the late degrees of his home sign, Aries. Fired up and energized by the quantum effect of the moon’s nodes, he cuts the air like a knife.

At the same time, the chaotic and electromagnetic energy of Uranus randomly sparks and zaps, adding the element of surprise! But time is short, and the heat is on. By Friday, the stifling and controlling energy of the planet Saturn arrives on the scene, creating blockages and frustrations.

But it is precisely this challenging energy that creates a ruthless and ambitious vibe that will ultimately reward the teams and players who can go above and beyond the call of duty.

Using predictive astrology, here are three sports matches to bet on coming up this week:

Game 1

MLB

Cleveland Guardians -v- Houston Astros

Friday, Aug. 5 @ 7:10 p.m. (EST) – Cleveland, Ohio

Friday evening and to a baseball game in Ohio where home team, Cleveland Guardians meet up with the Houston Astros for the first of four back-to-back meetings. The moon will make this a memorable match, shedding her prickly half-light over the game and feeding the action. At the same time, she lines up and completes a formidable T-square configuration involving the planetary bad boys: Mars and Saturn.

Here we can expect some volatile and extremely challenging energies with the emphasis on timing—and keeping a cool head! On one side, Houston Astros will most likely have the unpredictable Uranian force of Aquarian Justin Verlander serving up a storm, together with third baseman and shortstop, Piscean Alex Bregman, working some magic with his post-surgery hand!

On the other side, Cleveland Guardians will most likely have the legendary third baseman and short stop José Ramirez and big hitter Nolan Jones as their main weapons. Although the Guardians may hit some moon-high shots, I’m giving it to the brilliantly sparkling, quick-thinking Astros to have all their bases covered.

Game 2

MLS

D.C. United -v- New York Red Bulls

Saturday, Aug. 6 @ 7:30 p.m. (EDT) – Washington, D.C.

Saturday evening in Washington, D.C., as the growing moon sheds light on the Audi Field, we see home team D.C. United invite the poker-faced New York Red Bulls into their arena.

This is in many ways a ruthless, potential red-card game as the down-cast, but tough home team, led by captain Steven Birnbaum, fends off their bright and shining guests. Birnbaum’s hard-working Capricorn sun and bullish Mars in Taurus makes him and his team a force to be recognized and respected.

On the other hand, the Red Bulls are intuitive and intense, difficult to catch and slippery like the moon, especially with their Pisces moon captain, Aaron Long at the helm. Aaron was born when his tricky Gemini Mars aligned with the highly ambitious fixed star Sirius—the brightest star in the sky. Also known as ‘the Dog Star” it promises great success for those fortunate enough to be born under its powerful rays.

So, it appears that D.C. United have their work cut out, with the game unfolding like water eroding rock—with the shiny, silky Bulls saluting the crowd.

Game 3

WNBA

Washington Mystics -v- Los Angeles Sparks

Sunday, Aug. 7 @ 3:00 p.m. (EDT) – Washington, D.C.

Staying in Washington, D.C. for the Sunday afternoon basketball match at the Entertainment and Sports Arena, we see the home team Washington Mystics invite the Los Angeles Sparks into their intricately woven court. With subtle Pluto pulling the strings, hidden agendas make for an exciting ride as rabbits get pulled from the hat!

The Mystics energy is deep and penetrating while the Sparks is sensitive and intuitive. But, to seal the deal, we need look no further than the Mystics lead talent and Leo, Elena Delle Donne to dominate the game and dazzle like the sun!

Alongside her, the unstoppable Myisha Hines-Allen, born when her Taurus sun aligned with the royal fixed star, Aldabaran, known as the “Eye of the Bull.” Powerful and focussed, the Mystics will play a volcanic and superior game of cat and mouse.

And that’s a wrap for this week in Sports Astrology Predictions. Until next time.
