We all know that energies of the zodiac are not cut-and-dry. They resonate, they vibrate, and they influence each other.
So, it makes sense that, as we move out of one sign and into another, there would be a period of an energetic overlay.
Ergo, the cusp signs.
For the uninitiated, those who can claim to be born on the cusp are people whose birthdays fall right at the end of one sign’s time frame, or right at the beginning of another’s. And, just like the 12 sun signs that stand alone, some of the cusp signs experience more difficulties than others.
Which leads us to the question: does being born on the cusp make you undateable?
The short answer is, well, of course not – nobody is inherently undateable. But some signs do present more challenges than others, especially when it comes to relationships.
And so now, a brief overview of how each cusp sign deals with dating.
When a strong will meets eccentricity, you can bet that the Capricorn-Aquarius cusp is going to be an individual who prefers to live on their own terms. Don’t be surprised if this person isn’t into conventional relationships, or ends up prioritizing their startup over their dating life.
Both assertive and sensitive, imaginative and dreamy, logical and emotional, the Aquarius-Pisces cusp barely knows where they stand with themselves, let alone where they are with a relationship. If they struggle in their partnerships, it’s because of their fear of having unmanageable feelings, or in other words, getting hurt… again.
The Pisces-Aries cusp is probably one of the most datable signs, just because their sensitivities are paired so well with the logic and reason of the rams, that they almost have an intuitive ability to sense what other people need, and are likewise able to execute it just as well.
An Aries-Taurus is a tough cookie. There’s little compromise when it comes to dealing with this cusp sign, which doesn’t fare well in relationships. It’s their way or the highway, and their need to both be right at all times and have things look exactly the way they want can, uh, become somewhat of a detriment.
If a Taurus-Gemini cares about you, you will know it. However, they aren’t going to fall for anyone easily. The combination of these signs makes them super picky but devoted when they do find the right person. For them, it’s just a waiting game.
There are more feelings than can be described in the Gemini-Cancer cusp. These signs are always straddling their desire for adventure with their need to be grounded, and sometimes, that indecisiveness bleeds over into their relationships.
A Cancer-Leo would be a great partner (loving, loyal, committed)… until you crossed them one too many times, that is. The wrath of this sign’s anger is unmatched, and once they’re done with you, they are done forever.
Leo-Virgos are humanitarians at heart. They have the care and need for order of a Virgo, and the confidence of a Leo. It’s a great combination. But as is true for either of these signs, relationships don’t always take the first priority.
Pretty much no other sign combination will care for you as much as a Virgo-Libra will. You will be living in a romantic fantasy with this sign, and all of your physical, emotional and sexual needs will be tended to… as long as you reciprocate, of course.
Libra-Scorpios are manic. They struggle in relationships because their desire for companionship and romance clashes with their deep, dark feelings of jealousy, stubbornness, and resentment. It can be a lethal combination.
If you can even get a Scorpio-Sagittarius to date you, you’ve already accomplished the impossible. Between their secretive emotions and serious FOMO, settling down isn’t going to be high on the priority list, even when the supposedly perfect partner tempts them most.
The Sagittarius-Capricorn would be the perfect partner to settle down with. Equal parts adventurous and organized, your relationship with this sign would be the beginning of the greatest joy you’ve ever known.
