This Week’s Sports Predictions: January 22– January 28, 2024

January 21, 2024

Welcome to Sports Astrology Predictions where we take a look at the astrology of competition in a bid to predict who will come out on top!

All sport is ruled by the planet Mars. The position and condition of this protective and combative planet have a significant baseline influence on the outcome of all competition.

This week, Mars gets to parlay again with Mercury, as the planet of thoughts and communication finally reaches the end of its retrograde shadow and catches up to the warrior for another go at the action. And with the unstable frequency of Uranus joining the fray, this will be an adrenaline-pumped, highly charged, and exhilarating vibe where anything and everything goes! As the clock ticks ever so fast during this period, prepare for some plans to go awry and hold onto your hats for a white-knuckle roller-coaster of a ride where the unexpected should definitely be expected!

We begin this week’s predictions on Monday evening with a basketball game between the Phoenix Suns and Chicago Bulls. Here, the trickster Gemini moon runs amok for a spicy, rough-and-tumble challenge. Then, on Saturday afternoon, basketball teams New York Knicks and Miami Heat play under the light of the Regulus-spiced Leo moon for a right royal contest. Finally, on Saturday afternoon, two final basketball teams — the Denver Nuggets and Philadelphia 76ers — go head-to-head under the auspices of the wildly waning Leo moon for a ferociously nail-biting finale.

Game 1

NBA

Phoenix Suns -v- Chicago Bulls

Monday 22nd January @ 7:00 pm – Phoenix, Arizona

On Tuesday evening at the Footprint Center, home team Phoenix Suns invite the Chicago Bulls onto their court. With the unhinged Gemini moon up to all manner of mischief, this will be a fast and furious fight, especially with the Suns’ ingenious power forward, Virgo sun Kevin Durant and his ambitious Taurus moon overseeing the action. But it appears that it will be the Bulls’ fast-shooting small forward, Leo Mars/Mercury combo DeMar DeRozan and his super-sensitive Cancer sun, who will be the one to psych-out the opposition with style. Chicago Bulls to win.

Game 2

NHL

New York Knicks -v- Miami Heat

Saturday 27th January @ 3:00 pm – New York, New York

On Saturday afternoon at Madison Square Garden, home team New York Knicks welcome the Miami Heat onto their territory. With the highly unstable, waning Leo moon on the rampage, this will be a savage battle for supremacy, especially with the Knicks’ stellar point guard, Leo sun Jalen Brunson and his edgy Gemini Venus/Mars combo on high alert. However, it appears that it will be the Heat’s ambitious center, Cancer sun Bam Adebayo and his clever Virgo Mars, who will be the one to outsmart the opposition with ease. Miami Heat to win.

Game 3

NBA

Denver Nuggets -v- Philadelphia 76ers

Saturday 27thJanuary @ 3:30 pm – Denver Colorado

On Saturday afternoon at the Ball Arena, the Denver Nuggets invite the Philadelphia 76ers onto their turf. With the feral, Regulus-laced Leo moon ready for a fight, this will be a cracker of a contest, especially with the Nuggets’ quirky center, Aquarius sun Nikola Jokic and his super-stealthy retrograde Pisces Mars getting away with all kinds of mischief. But it appears that it will be the 76ers’ unpredictable point guard, Capricorn moon/Uranus combo Tyrese Maxey and his quick-witted Virgo Mars, who will be the one to pull out all the stops for a show-stopping finale. Philadelphia 76ers to win.

And that’s a wrap for this week in Sports Astrology Predictions. Until next time!
