This Week’s Sports Predictions: August 21 – August 27, 2023

Welcome to Sports Astrology Predictions, where we take a look at the astrology of competition in a bid to predict who will come out on top!  

All sport is ruled by the planet Mars.  The position and condition of this protective and combative planet has a significant, base-line influence on the outcome of all competition.

This week, the fog begins to clear as Mars escapes the clutches of Neptune and heads towards the powerful, transformative vibes of Pluto.  Time to dig deep and ferret out the truth in any situation, especially now that both Mercury and Venus are flipping backwards in their retrograde loop.  Although the temptation is to move forward at all costs, a deep dive into the shadows of the recent past will reveal what has been hindering success both on and off the field.  Time to cut and cull and clear the way for a refreshed and rejuvenated plan of attack.  Keep all options open.

We begin this week’s predictions on Monday evening with a preseason gridiron football game between Washington Commanders and Baltimore Ravens.  Here, the fresh-faced Libran moon reveals the sweet spots for a well-timed ending.  Then on Thursday evening to another gridiron game between Atlanta Falcons and Pittsburgh Steelers where the powerful and prickly Antares-flavored Scorpio moon oversees the action for a thrilling contest.  Finally, to Saturday at noon for a game between Kansas City Chiefs and Cleveland Browns where the waxing Sagittarius moon lies in wait for a stealthy and super-entertaining game of hide and seek.

Game 1

NFL Preseason

Washington Commanders -v- Baltimore Ravens

Monday 21^st August @ 8:00 pm – North Englewood, Maryland 

Thursday evening at FedEx Field and to a gridiron preseason football game where home team Washington Commanders invite Baltimore Ravens onto their turf.  With the Libra moon making out with Saturn, this will be seriously competitive, especially with Ravens’ quarterback, Sagittarian moon Lamar Jackson and his Virgo Mars calling the shots.  But it appears that it will be Commanders’ edgy quarterback, Leo sun/Mars double whammy Sam Howell and his feisty Aries moon who will lead his team to a stunning win.  Washington Commanders to win.

Game 2

NFL Preseason

Atlanta Falcons -v- Pittsburgh Steelers

Thursday 24^th August @ 7:30 pm – Atlanta, Georgia

Thursday evening at Mercedes-Benz Stadium and to a gridiron game where home team Atlanta Falcons meet up with Pittsburgh Steelers.  Under the intense light of an Antares-laced Scorpio moon, this will be a knife-edge thriller, especially with Falcons’ star quarterback, Sagittarian moon Logan Woodside and his super-sneaky Regulus-spiked retrograde Leo Mars pulling some killer moves.  However, it appears that it will be Steelers’ slick quarterback, Pisces moon Mason Rudolph and his on-point Virgo Mars who will slip and slide his way through the field to claim a stunning victory for his team. Pittsburgh Steelers to win.

Game 3

NFL Preseason

Kansas City Chiefs -v- Cleveland Browns

Saturday 26^th August @ 12:00 pm – Kansas City, Missouri

Saturday noon at Arrowhead Stadium and to a gridiron football game where home team Kansas City Chiefs welcome Cleveland Browns onto their field.  With the super-fresh waxing Sagittarian moon silently pulling the strings, this will be massively competitive, especially with Browns’ quarterback, Libran sun Dorian Thompson-Robins and his cool Capricorn moon getting down to business.  But it appears that it will be Chiefs’ show-pony quarterback, tricky Gemini moon Patrick Mahomes and his Antares-infused Scorpio Jupiter who will be the one to clinch the deal.  Kansas City Chiefs to win.
