This Week’s Sports Predictions: May 6 – May 12, 2024

Welcome to Sports Astrology Predictions where we take a look at the astrology of competition in a bid to predict who will come out on top!  

All sport is ruled by the planet Mars. The position and condition of this protective and combative planet have a significant baseline influence on the outcome of all competition.

This week, Mars gets torched and scorched by Algenib, a white fixed star situated on the tip of the winged horse in the constellation Pegasus. The frequency generated by this super-hot and competitive connection threatens to upset the status quo. And with a generous helping of ruthlessness thrown into the mix, it would be best to stay cool and enjoy the gift of a quickened mind and even quicker reflexes. 

We kick off this week’s predictions on Saturday afternoon with a baseball game between the Baltimore Orioles and the Arizona Diamondbacks.  Here, the waxing Gemini moon oversees the action for a restless game where anything goes. Then baseball teams Boston Red Sox and Washington Nationals shape up under the influence of the mercurial moon, where patience and timing will be rewarded. Finally, on Saturday afternoon, baseball teams San Francisco Giants and Cincinnati Reds go head-to-head under the auspices of the tricky Gemini moon for a wickedly entertaining showdown.

Baltimore Orioles -v- Arizona Diamondbacks

Saturday 11^th May @ 4:05 pm – Baltimore, Oriole 

On Saturday afternoon at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, home team Baltimore Orioles invite the Arizona Diamondback onto their field. With the Gemini moon at the end of her tether, this will be a game where sleight-of-hand is the name of the game, especially with the Orioles’ lethal shortstop, on-point Gemini sun Gunnar Henderson and his poker-faced retrograde Scorpio Mars on a silent rampage. But it appears that it will be the Diamondbacks’ ambitious second baseman, Virgo sun/Jupiter combo Ketel Marte and his hard-working Libra Mars/Venus combo, who will psyche out and clinically take down the opposition with style. Arizona Diamondbacks to win.

Boston Red Sox -v- Washington Nationals

Saturday 11^th May @ 4:10 pm – Boston, Massachusetts

On Saturday afternoon at Fenway Park, the Boston Red Sox welcome the Washington Nationals onto their ballpark. With the bright fixed dog-star Sirius culminating and the dexterous Gemini moon overseeing the action, this will be a massively competitive game, especially with the Sox’ fiery right fielder, Aries moon Tyler O’Neill and his feral Leo Mars getting under the skin of his opponents. However, it appears that it will be the Nationals’ stellar short stop, Leo Mars C.J. Abrams and his handy Virgo sun on the move, who will take the opposition down with planned precision. Washington Nationals to win.

San Francisco Giants -v- Cincinnati Reds

Saturday 11^th May @ 4:15 pm – San Francisco, California

On Saturday afternoon at Oracle Park, the San Francisco Giants invite the Cincinnati Reds onto their turf. With the shifty Gemini moon throwing caution to the wind, this will be an unpredictable game with twists and turns at every corner, especially with the Giants’ quirky left fielder, Aquarius sun Michael Conforto and his powerful Gemini Mars pulling the strings. But it appears that it will be the Reds’ elusive shortstop, Piscean Mars Elly De La Cruz and his lively Sagittarius moon, who will be the one to take hold of proceedings for an outstanding victory. Cincinnati Reds to win.
