This Week’s Sports Predictions: May 20 – May 26, 2024

All sport is ruled by the planet Mars. The position and condition of this protective and combative planet have a significant baseline influence on the outcome of all competition.

This week, Mars gets a super-hot blast of irritable energy, thanks to a challenging semi-square aspect from both the sun and Venus. Poised for battle and chafing at the bit, the warrior planet wants action and wants it now, but plans could get blocked and frustrated by other people and situations. Volatile and impatient, this connection is a challenge to control, so stay cool and keep it smooth.

We kick off this week’s predictions on Saturday morning with a minor league football game between the Arlington Renegades and the St. Louis Battlehawks. Here, the restless Sagittarius moon runs amok to deliver a close-call finale. Then, on Saturday afternoon, baseball teams Boston Red Sox and the Milwaukee Brewers shape up under the light of the waning Jupiterian moon for an extreme challenge where one team will get dealt a lucky hand to seal the deal. Finally, on Sunday morning, baseball teams Detroit Tigers and Toronto Blue Jays go head-to-head under the auspices of the Sagittarius moon, where one team will psyche out the other for a thrilling result.

Saturday 25^th May @ 11:00 am – Arlington, Texas

On Saturday morning at Choctaw Stadium, the Arlington Renegades invite the St. Louis Battlehawks onto their field. With the Sagittarius moon wanting some excitement, this is a battle where muscles will be flexed, especially with the Battlehawks’ power-hungry quarterback, Scorpio new moon Nick Tiano and his feral Leo Mars on the prowl. But it appears that it will be the Renegades’ tricky quarterback, Cancer new moon Luis Perez and his calmly confident Taurus Mars, who will find that Lady Luck is on his side for a hometown showdown. Arlington Renegades to win.

Boston Red Sox -v- Milwaukee Brewers

Saturday 25^th May @ 4:10 pm – Boston, Massachusetts

On Saturday afternoon at Fenway Park, the Boston Red Sox welcome the Milwaukee Brewers onto their ballpark. With the waning Sagittarius moon ready for anything, this will be a fast-moving contest, especially with the Brewers’ wily shortstop, Scorpio moon Willy Adames and his controlling Libra Mars calling the shots. However, it appears that it will be the Red Sox’ aggressive right fielder, Aries moon Tyler O’Neill and his wild Leo Mars on the prowl, who will claw his way to the top to claim a sizzling victory for his team. Boston Red Sox to win.

Detroit Tigers -v- Toronto Blue Jays

Sunday 26^th May @ 11:35 am – Detroit, Michigan

On Sunday morning at Comerica Park, home team Detroit Tigers invite the Toronto Blue Jays onto their turf. With the Sagittarius moon hiding her wares, this will be a fight where the weakness of both teams will be exposed, especially with the Blue Jays’ handy left fielder, fixed star Sirius-laced Gemini sun Daulton Varsho and his ruthless Capricorn moon prodding and poking. But it appears that it will be the Tigers’ shrewd left fielder, Virgo sun Riley Greene and his bulls-eye fixed star Aldebaran-infused Jupiter, who will outfox the opposition. Detroit Tigers to win.
