This Week’s Sports Predictions: March 6-12, 2023

Welcome to Sports Astrology Predictions where we take a look at the astrology of competition in a bid to predict who will come out on top!

All sport is ruled by the planet Mars. The position and condition of this protective and combative planet has a significant baseline influence on the outcome of all competition.

This week, Mars gets a sweet treat from a brief and sweet sextile meeting with Venus.  Always fun to play with the goddess, the warrior laps up this voluptuous vibration with a vengeance, taking on his opponents with the utmost ease.  And not a moment to be wasted.  Soon he will have his foundations rocked when Neptune and the sun corner him for a confusing and testing time.  Enjoy this supportive energy and let the troops get pumped and ready for the battles to come.

We begin this week’s predictions on Thursday evening with a basketball game between Sacramento Kings and New York Knicks.  Here, the fresh and fertile Virgo moon brings Mars and Venus together for a well-synchronized contest.  Then to Friday evening for basketball between Los Angeles Lakers and Toronto Raptors, where the rising Libra moon feels the pressure from an ambitious Saturn to perform at a maximum.   Finally, to Saturday late afternoon and to an ice hockey game between Buffalo Sabres and New York Rangers where a fiery, via combusta Libra moon will front up and oppose the intimidating and unpredictable energy of Uranus, where sparks will fly, and fires will be lit.

Game 1

NBA

Sacramento Kings -v- New York Knicks

Thursday 9th March @ 7:00 pm – Sacramento, California

Thursday evening at Golden 1 Center and to a basketball game where home team Sacramento Kings welcome New York Knicks onto their court.  With a pristine, waning Virgo moon on the rise, this will be an organized and highly efficient use of resources, especially with the King’s hot power forward, Arian sun Domantas Sabonis and his red-hot Aries Mars grabbing every opportunity to dominate.  But it appears that it will be Knick’s vibrant point guard, Leo sun Jalen Brunson and his slippery Piscean moon who will dazzle and direct play exactly the way he wants it.  New York Knicks to win.

Game 2

NBA

Los Angeles Lakers -v- Toronto Raptors

Friday 10th March @ 7:30 pm – Los Angeles, California

Friday evening at Crypto.com Arena and to a basketball game where home team Los Angeles Lakers meet up with Toronto Raptors.  With the passive/aggressive waning Libra moon rising to the occasion, this will put teamwork under the pump, especially with Laker’s menacing power forward Anthony Davis driving the momentum.  However, it appears that it will be Raptor’s juicy power forward, Piscean sun Pascal Siakam and his wild and unpredictable Aquarian Mars/Mercury combo who will guarantee a thriller of a match.  Toronto Raptors to win.

Game 3

NHL

Buffalo Sabres -v- New York Rangers

Saturday 11th March @ 5:00 pm – Buffalo, New York

Saturday late afternoon at KeyBank Center and to an ice hockey game where home team Buffalo Sabres invite New York Rangers onto their rink.  With an anxious Libra moon stepping into the fiery way of the via combusta, this will be a volatile and random game, especially with Rangers left winger Libra sun/Mars combo Artemi Panarin feeling the heat.  But it appears that it will be Sabres’ enigmatic right-wing, Libra new moon Tage Thompson and his volcanic Scorpio Mars, who will put up a strong and lethal fight to the end.  Buffalo Sabres to win.

And that’s a wrap for this week in Sports Astrology Predictions. Until next time!
