AUGUST 3: Tending The Old Wound

Chiron, the wounded healer, continues its retrograde journey through steady Taurus, turning your attention inward toward the places where self-worth has felt shaky. Taurus rules value, security, and the body, so old wounds around deserving comfort or stability may resurface now. You might catch yourself apologizing for needing things. Retrograde motion asks you to revisit rather than resolve. There's no rushing this kind of healing, and trying to force it usually backfires. Instead of pushing the pain away, sit with it gently, like tending a garden that needs patience more than force. Small acts of self-love count: a nourishing meal, a slower morning, permission to rest without earning it first. Notice the voice that calls those things indulgent, then ask who taught it to you. The seeds you plant today in self-compassion won't bloom overnight, but they are real. Healing is rarely linear. Today it simply asks for tenderness over urgency.
