This Week’s Sports Predictions: March 11 – March 17, 2024

Welcome to Sports Astrology Predictions where we take a look at the astrology of competition in a bid to predict who will come out on top!  

All sport is ruled by the planet Mars. The position and condition of this protective and combative planet have a significant baseline influence on the outcome of all competition.

This week, Mars joins forces with Sadalsuud, a single yellow fixed star situated on the shoulder of the Water-Bearer in the constellation Aquarius.  The strangely distorted frequency generated by this headstrong and ‘luckiest-of-lucky’ stars encourages Mars to take risks and hedge bets.  But with Neptune entering the arena, not all is as it seems, so practice the art of self-control and wait for the magic to happen.

We begin this week’s predictions on Sunday at noon with a basketball game between the Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns. Here, the waxing Gemini moon squares up to the sun and Neptune for a frustrating match where the strategy of both teams will be tested. Then on Sunday afternoon, ice hockey teams Vegas Golden Knights and New Jersey Devils shape up under the growing light of the mercurial moon for a tricky game of who-dares-wins. Finally, on Sunday afternoon, two ice hockey teams—the New York Rangers and New York Islanders—go head-to-head under the auspices of the Gemini moon for a mesmerizing game where anything goes.

Milwaukee Bucks -v- Phoenix Suns

Sunday 17^th March @ 12:00 pm – Milwaukee, Wisconsin

On Sunday at noon at the Fiserv Forum, home team Milwaukee Bucks invite the Phoenix Suns onto their court. With the waxing Gemini moon hiding in the ethers, this will be a frustrating game of cat-and-mouse, especially with the Suns’ crafty power forward, Virgo sun Kevin Durant and his subversive retrograde Pisces Mars throwing a spanner in the works. But it appears that it will be the Bucks’ star power forward, Leo Mars Giannis Antetokounmpo and his loaded Scorpio sun/Mercury/Jupiter/Pluto stellium, who will be the one to pull a rabbit out of the hat for a stellar win. Milwaukee Bucks to win.

Game 2

Vegas Golden Knights -v- New Jersey Devils

Sunday 17^th March @ 12:30 pm – Las Vegas, Nevada

On Sunday afternoon at the T-Mobile Arena, Vegas Golden Knights welcome the New Jersey Devils onto their rink. With the growing Gemini moon still stinging from an abrasive square with the sun/Neptune conjunction, this will be a hard and fast game, especially with the Devils’ fiery right wing, Aries sun Tyler Toffoli and his unpredictable Aquarius Mars overseeing the action. However, it appears that it will be the Knights’ cunning right wing, retrograde Taurus Mars Jonathan Marchessault and his loaded Sagittarius sun/Mercury/Venus/Uranus/Neptune stellium, who will find himself in the right place and at the right time to deliver a stunning victory. Vegas Golden Knights to win.

Game 3

NHL

New York Rangers -v- New York Islanders

Sunday 17^th March @ 1:00 pm – New York, New York

On Sunday afternoon at Madison Square Garden, the New York Rangers invite New York Islanders onto their ice. With the tricksy Gemini moon hiding her wares and the sun/Neptune conjunction overseeing the action, this will be an elusive game full of twists and turns, especially with the Islanders’ quick-witted center, Spica-laced Virgo sun Brock Nelson and his Libra Mars/Mercury conjunction lighting up the scoreboard. But it appears that it will be the Rangers’ feisty left wing, Libra sun/Mars combo Artemi “Breadman” Panarin and his dominating Cancer moon, who will side-line the opposition to the delight of a hometown crowd. New York Rangers to win.
