Your Daily HomeScope for March 06, 2026

March 6, 2026

If home is where the heart is, why shouldn’t it follow the same stars that we do? Our relationships with our homes are sacred, and like most, could use a bit of counseling here and there. Tap on your sun sign and start making your house more of a home today!

Aries

Your set of friends not only suits you but delights you today. The flavor of the season, and believe it or not, they all like the same bedding in the garden. Petunias and eggplants also do well with these companions.

Taurus

Searching for the shoes that mysteriously migrated to the center of the floor under your king-size bed is a task you will delegate to a small child in your home. Store more below your bed with pullout drawers and boxes. Choose models that look good, especially if they are not hidden by a bed skirt.

Gemini

When both you and your life partner work from home, you may need to schedule some time to be away from each other. Sharing is great, but separating your offices means you each get the personal space you value. If you go wireless, you can still use just one printer/fax/copy machine.

Cancer

Taking yourself out of the mainstream of the party is as easy as finding a quiet bench in the garden. You will know it is time to leave when a child's face peek-a-boos you from behind a bush.

Leo

You are putting your heart and soul into your current project with good reason. You would not cut with a dull knife, so before you start that intricate sewing project for your honeymoon wear, take the time to have your scissors professionally sharpened. Dull shears can ruin the beautiful fabric you plan to make into lingerie.

Virgo

A hand-me-down from your mother, whether it is an expensive heirloom or a simple sewing tool, will bring a joyful tear to your eye as you work today. A wrist pincushion keeps plain and fathead pins easily accessible and gives you a place to stick the ones you take out of the fabric as you sew a seam.

Libra

Think big. Your outdoor space may be tiny, but you can make it look like a lush tropical jungle with beautiful and edible plants. Lettuce and spinach planted in a dozen 16-inch pots will eventually produce salad each day.

Scorpio

A deterrent is the best solution today. Diatomaceous earth, with its composition of silica shells, is not harmful to plants, children or pets, yet it tastes nasty to snails and slugs.

Sagittarius

Now's a great time to fix little accidents that went unnoticed in the past. Even if it's invisible to everyone else, you know it's there. And if you need to make amends in your personal life, others are especially receptive to your heartfelt apologies.

Capricorn

Bringing classic comfort to your urban space means a new way of looking at design. Your library often sells magazines for cheap. Buy a bunch and browse for ideas. Tear out the ones that please you most and you will soon know exactly what the new room should look like.

Aquarius

Searching for the perfect gift for the woman who has everything can seem like a hassle. Why not create something and give it from the heart? Herbal oils make beautiful gifts. Plus, they're excellent in stir-fries and salads. Try pairing fresh thyme from your garden with sunflower oil in a pretty bottle.

Pisces

In the case of growing your own vegetables, flowers and herbs, more is better. When your windowsill farm overflows, you may need to add some hooks to suspend baskets. That way, you can continue to watch seedlings send out green shoots as they seek the light.
