Weekly Horoscope: September 21, 2026 to September 27, 2026— Stand In An Inferno Of Fire

New moons are like locked doors in an area of our heavens—in an area of our natal charts—that once they arrive, they finally open the door, clear the path, and encourage us to walk forward and take charge of our destiny. While all major lunations bring some form of news—even if it’s not as “big” as we may be expecting—eclipses certainly are the mightiest and most intense. Full moons, while not as strong as an eclipse, are still major moments that we can feel and tend to be more emotional, bringing endings, turning points, and culminations. While full moons don’t always bring “destiny” like eclipses do, they still can rile us up to take action.

The Energy Profile Of This Week

Another active cosmic week is upon us. The first thing I’d like to draw attention to is the arrival of the Autumn Equinox—and the onset of Libra season—in the Northern Hemisphere as of September 22. In the season to come, we step away from “the self” and begin to engage more with the “other” and the “world.” Libra season is all about dancing with a mirror and working in tandem with others—in collaboration, personally, or professionally. Happy Libra season to all of our Libras!

The next major moment to focus upon is the full moon in Aries—which arrives on September 26. Like all full moons, we begin to feel it creeping in days before and then it crescendos in intensity. The news—and energy—of this full moon in Aries will echo onward until the middle of next week. This highlights the themes of Aries, which is ruled by Mars: ego, war, independence, leadership, and the pursuit of our own individual destinies. Everyone may feel hot-headed, impulsive, and ego-driven at this time—so don’t bring the heat if you can’t back it up!

Last to note is that we begin another new transit, with the ingress of Mars, planet of drive, into the kingdom of Leo from September 27 until November 25. Mars will return in a retrograde phase to Leo in 2027—and we will soon enter Mars pre-shadow—but we are not currently there yet. Mars in Leo—especially with the red planet in direct motion—is one of the best periods for romance and dating, true love for singles, fertility and situations involving children, expression and artistry, as well as hobbies, recreation, and sports. Even though we will have a season ahead of rocky retrograde weather, it may be helpful to turn our attention to what sets our hearts on fire so we can feel like little kids again.
