History Repeating

At 12:13 a.m.: The moon is opposite Pluto

Just after midnight, the Leo moon opposes Pluto in Aquarius, prompting erratic emotions. A lack of outside validation sends us into a tailspin! We may internalize our insecurities and develop a complex. Or, the more likely option, we leverage our anxieties against others in the form of accusations. It could also be that we are on the receiving end of another’s angst. At this time, avoid allowing fear to take over. We might worry that others don’t love us. We worry that they will disappear from our lives. If we fail to acknowledge our own irrationality, these fears could become self-fulfilling prophecies. Our accusations may drive someone away who we care for deeply! Beware of manipulation tactics. Forcing another to prove their loyalty under pressure isn’t a healthy way of earning their affection!

At 6:34 a.m.: Mars is square Chiron

In the morning, Mars in Cancer squares off with Chiron in Aries, compounding the day’s complicated emotional weather. Current events remind us of previous “failures” in life and love. We beat ourselves up over not seeing the warning signs of past issues, and think that we can course-correct by recognizing red flags in the present.  The issue is that paranoia may be getting the better of us. Our intuition is being informed by insecurities, creating a vicious trauma loop. Nothing can convince us that we have this situation pegged wrong, because we don’t want to be caught unaware again. Hypervigilance instigates the very circumstances we were trying to avoid.  On an unconscious level, we might not be ready to face the truth about our problem, or admit that we have the power to change this pattern by approaching it differently. Instead, we continue to use the same self-defeating approach that got us into trouble before. Under this intense weather, avoid setting up “tests” for others to “pass”!
