What’s Missing? Have You Forgotten Something?

August 5, 2023

At 1:14 p.m.: The moon is inconjunct Mercury

The cosmic weather is quiet today until the early afternoon, when the moon forms a quincunx with Mercury in Virgo, causing us to wonder, “Have I forgotten something?” Unfortunately, the enthusiastic Aries moon won’t exactly inspire us to stop and make sure that paperwork is in order and timetables are being followed to the letter.  But the more we rush headlong into the day’s activities, the more that nagging feeling of neglected details will persist. Ignoring it won’t cause it to go away. And in certain interactions, we almost feel that we catch a glimpse of it. It’s on the tip of our tongue! The frustration of this transit should shortly pass, so try not to stress out. After all, we are most likely to remember what we’ve forgotten in a flash once we quit stewing over it.

At 6:40 p.m.: The moon is trine the sun

In the evening, the moon trines the Leo sun, restoring confidence. Irritating conditions from earlier in the day have been resolved. Now we are free to continue with our projects unimpeded! The best activities at this time are those where we can command the spotlight and shine.  Maybe we’ll show off our talents or offer our hot takes. We want an audience, but keep in mind that everyone is experiencing this transit, so everyone wants an audience too! Our best bet is to get out on the social scene and work the room. Parties or celebrations offer an opportunity to have our moment in the sun. Plus, everyone else can get a word in edgewise!
