In the pre-dawn hours, the last quarter moon in Taurus encourages us to reflect upon events that transpired since the August 1 Aquarius full moon. We’ve spent the past week embracing our less orthodox side. Leaning into originality and unconventionality has allowed us to put our most authentic selves on display. However, today, a crisis causes us to retreat to the comfortable and familiar. Certain people know us as a specific version of ourselves. When we evolve and change, there can be an uncomfortable disconnect. What to do? Do we act like our former selves for everyone’s comfort? Or do we reveal the “new us” and risk receiving judgment? In some sense, we cannot go home again, in that we can’t unknow what we now know. However, there are ways to make the transition into self-actualization less clunky, and this starts with being real with your loved ones about where you’re at.

The important thing is to avoid sacrificing our confidence to appease others. During the moon-Mars trine, we are able to trust our instincts and assert ourselves without antagonizing people in the process. Additionally, our enthusiasm is infectious!
