Reevaluating Your Plan? Don’t Get Bogged Down in the Details!

At 12:00 a.m.: Pallas is conjunct Mercury

At midnight, the goddess asteroid Pallas aligns with Mercury in Virgo, the second of three aspects between these two bodies during Mercury’s retrograde cycle. Their first conjunction, which occurred on August 8, emphasized the necessity of strategy and smart planning.  A project might have been set in motion around this time, one where attention to detail was paramount to your success. Yet today, some part of your initial plan merits reevaluation. Course corrections must be made in tandem with current developments. Take a step back. Do you see a larger pattern at work here?

At 4:56 a.m.: The moon is square Mars, and the moon void of course begins

Around dawn, the moon squares off with Mars, making us irritable. Under the Sagittarius moon, we resent being locked into routines. However, detail-oriented Mars in Virgo has the upper hand here, emphasizing minutiae at the expense of the big picture. This aspect can feel a lot like treading water. We’re pushing for results but seem to get nowhere. This tension stimulates internal conflict, but without an outlet to express our grievances, we risk taking our frustrations out on others.  The moon then enters a void period lasting an hour, during which time, you shouldn’t make sudden movements!
