Today’s Astrology Kicks off a Journey of Education and Discovery!

December 2, 2023

At 3:45 a.m.: The moon is trine the sun

In the pre-dawn hours, the Leo moon trines the Sagittarius sun, harmonizing our emotions and egos. We wake up ready to seize the day, eager to discover new things and have exciting conversations. This cosmic weather activates both our passion for performance and our zeal for adventure.  We can harness this transit for work, especially if some of the fun has gone out of our daily routines. However, it will be best utilized for play, socializing, and creative exploration. The only downside of this influence is that we can take it for granted and fail to use enthusiasm to our advantage.

At 7:27 a.m.: Mercury is sextile Saturn

After sun-up, Mercury in Capricorn sextiles Saturn in Pisces, helping us to make logical decisions. This is an excellent aspect for research and study. Since we are self-motivated, no taskmasters are required. In fact, we’re doubly invested in going the extra mile if it means getting extra credit.  Of course, the true satisfaction here is one of the lessons learned and a job well done. We don’t just want to get the facts straight; we want to absorb a message to such a degree that we can become a teacher to others.  This is the first of three sextiles that the messenger planet will make to our cosmic lawgiver in the course of its retrograde cycle. The second pass, on December 21, might find us needing to revise our original hypothesis. New information can come to light then, encouraging us to check our work. The final aspect, on January 18, 2024, will restore confidence in our conclusions.
