Who Have You Become? Use Today’s Astral Transits for Reflection

December 8, 2023

At 5:05 p.m.: The moon is square Pluto, and the moon void of course begins

The cosmic weather is quiet today until the evening, when the Libra moon squares off with Pluto in Capricorn, prompting emotional unrest. Interactions with others make us suddenly aware of our shortcomings and prejudices. We may be haunted by intrusive thoughts. When did we become this person? And is there any hope of restoring a balance?  The good news? Balance is precisely what this transit seeks to inspire! It’s only when we acknowledge a problem that we can begin to shift our participation. However, at the moment, we may be too caught up in conflict and drama to do much in the way of course correction.  The moon enters a void following this aspect that will last for a short hour and a half. Use this time to reflect upon what is coming up for you. Try to be a good listener. Examine how others are mirroring your energy. Let these reflections inspire a behavior change.

At 7:35 p.m.: The moon enters Scorpio, and the moon void of course ends

Following this, the moon enters Scorpio, exiting its short void of course. While the moon was in Libra, we preferred to wade in the shallow end of the emotional pool. Some distance from heightened passions helped us to weigh our options and check our biases.  But now, the moon has entered Scorpio, and we are ready to wade into deeper waters. Over the next two days, consider how you attain and maintain power in your life. What gives you a sense of control in an unpredictable world? Remember that there is nothing to fear but fear itself. And oftentimes, fear is a manifestation of our own instinctive assumptions, not a legitimate reflection of what means to do us harm.
