Fantasy becomes a reality. What is taking shape?

February 24, 2024

At 4:30 a.m.: The moon is opposite the sun

In the morning, the Virgo full moon brings intentions set during the February 9 Aquarius new moon to fruition. At that time, we were encouraged to define our vision for our future. Engaging with our communities was necessary. Brainstorming ideas and discussing dreams served to broaden our perspective. However, we were also instructed to keep our plans flexible to accommodate unexpected curveballs. Today, out of the nebulous sea of Piscean imagination, something takes a concrete, Virgoan shape. One part of our vision has been made manifest. And although we are bound to experience a push-pull between fantasy and reality, this lunation promises to stretch us rather than stress us.  Now that our ideas are coming together, we need to get organized. We need additional structure. We need a container for our magical musings, or else they will just as easily dissolve back into the ether. Take an inventory of the materials you have to work with and go from there. This full moon will oppose Saturn, our cosmic teacher, which could see us working solo in some capacity. Because we’re so focused on making progress, this aspect might not feel as isolating as it usually would. We’ll enjoy having extra time to get our ducks in a row. Additionally, the moon will make a wide trine to luck-planet Jupiter, reminding us not to lose our sense of humor, even as our objectives become more serious.

At 8:01 p.m.: Venus is square Jupiter

After nightfall, Venus in Aquarius squares off with Jupiter in Taurus, stimulating undue optimism. Venus and Jupiter are considered “benefic” planets, harbingers of positivity. Even as they clash with each other, we are unlikely to clock problematic effects in real time. However, deeds we perceive as harmless can catch up with us down the road. This transit fosters unchecked idealism and blind faith. We adopt an unreasonably romantic perspective, assuming all problems are easily fixable and there will be no repercussions to extravagant behavior. Unfortunately, that might not be the case. While we could receive a few lucky breaks or make some important social or business connections now, acting irresponsibly can create fallout. We should take care to avoid eating or drinking to excess, overspending, or “casual” flirtations that get others’ hopes up. Exercise moderation in life, and you should fare fine.
