Our Definition of Success

At 11:04 a.m.: The moon is sextile Uranus

In the late morning, the Pisces moon sextiles Uranus in Taurus, an aspect of serendipity! We might be inspired to take a different approach in our work or relationships, guided by our intuition. Being receptive to change is liberating! We see that we have been doing things the hard way out of principle, when life could be so much easier by going with the flow.

At 9:40 p.m.: Venus is conjunct Juno

After nightfall, Venus retrograde aligns with the asteroid Juno in Capricorn. Venus has been doing her backwards shuffle since December 19, presenting us with opportunities to reevaluate what we desire from our relationships and financial situations. In tireless Capricorn, we wish to be “successful” in these arenas. Yet because our definition of success is in flux at this time, questioning our objectives can create quite a bit of anxiety!  Juno is the asteroid of commitment and marriage, so the health, stability, and viability of relationships are thrown under a magnifying glass during this aspect’s perfection. If partnered, could our relationship be headed towards something permanent? Is permanence our ultimate goal?  If unpartnered, what do we hope to gain from a future long-term union? What are the qualities we are looking for in an ideal match? While Capricorn considerations like commitment, fidelity, or financial security might play a part in our thought process, the real question to ask now is “do I feel supported?”
