Getting serious? Remember your sense of humor!

At 1:59 a.m.: The moon is square Uranus and the moon void of course begins

In the pre-dawn hours, the Aquarius moon squares off with Uranus in Taurus, fostering distraction. Emotional ups and downs make it difficult to concentrate. Spur-of-the-moment surprises provoke anxiety. Many of us will be navigating a restless sleep at this hour. We could awake from an upsetting dream, having suddenly remembered something we’d forgotten to do. Although this may be disconcerting, there is no action you can reasonably take in the middle of the night. Following this aspect, the moon enters a long void of course that will last until after nightfall! Keep in mind that uneasy feelings are normal under this cosmic weather.

At 6:49 p.m.: Mercury enters Capricorn

In the late evening, Mercury re-enters Capricorn, the sign of the sea goat. Mercury last left this sign on December 22, 2023, when it backtracked into Sagittarius in retrograde motion. Look back to this date. What was transpiring for you? Mercury will not exit its post-retrograde shadow for another week, but we are already receiving some clarifying takeaways. We’ve recognized that the objectives we set for ourselves back in early December were entirely premature. Now we are returning to projects with renewed clarity. Mercury in Capricorn offers pragmatism, clear sight, and level-headedness. However, it can also cause us to be overly serious in communication. Set your standards high but maintain a sense of humor!
