Before noon, the Aries solar eclipse catalyzes massive shifts in self-confidence and individuality. Here, the moon and sun are conjunct the lunar north node, opening up a portal to our destiny. However, in the immediate, it may seem as though life is spiraling out of our control. Aries is a sign of new beginnings, and for something new to start, something else must end. During this eclipse, breakdowns foreshadow breakthroughs, and so if you’re in the weeds, it’s normal. Chaos can arise in careers or relationships, testing the legitimacy of beliefs and expectations not serving our development or highest good. Complicating matters, the moon is aligned with Chiron, the wounded healer asteroid, provoking insecurity, guilt, and shame. In order for us to grow, we must confront our fears of failure head-on. In doing so, we’ll discover that we keep landing ourselves in the same mess because we are unwilling to let go of the past. On the other side of this eclipse, we will emerge more courageous and secure in our priorities and ambitions. After nightfall, the Aries moon aligns with Mercury, revealing our biases. Today’s shake ups have provided much food for thought. As we navigate shifts in reality, it is crucial to process our experiences and discuss what we are feeling. At this time, we’re too close to the action to see anything objectively. Be aware that your truth is not the whole truth. By adjusting our perspective to get a wider view, we’ll see where an emotional attachment is complicating our assessment of a situation.
