Post-eclipse self-care is needed!

At 4:23 a.m.: The moon enters Taurus and the moon void of course ends

In the pre-dawn hours, the moon enters Taurus, exiting its void of course, which began early last night. Over the next two days, we will still be in the thick of yesterday’s solar eclipse soup. Keep in mind that eclipse season is not an ideal time for intention setting, but it does present a perfect wake-up call for those of us who have tried to ignore the obvious. Therefore, we have no choice but to be more intentional in our choices and behaviors. Events that are transpiring may be out of your control. Relationships could be dissolving or career plans going awry. Fallouts with friends, family drama, or new goals taking priority could pose a major identity crisis. The Taurus moon is a perfect balm for this wild energy because it asks us to get grounded, center ourselves, and embrace embodiment, even amidst chaos. “Be here now” may not be your favorite mantra at such an unpredictable time, but sinking into the sensual side of things and permitting yourself to feel everything vividly is important. If you need a sensory anchor, consider aromatherapy, gardening, or cooking and eating your favorite meals. And, of course, drinking lots of water is a must.

At 7:35 a.m.: The moon is square Pluto

Around sun-up, the moon squares off with Pluto in Aquarius, adding fuel to the proverbial fire. Tensions come to a head. Accusations are levied. Personal prejudices or biases can no longer be contained. Words may be said which cannot be taken back. This influence is intended to expose unhealthy dynamics and reveal toxic situations for what they are. Although this moment may be unpleasant, it will also allow the air to be cleared, so cords can either be cut or solutions can be found. We are asked to get real with ourselves now. Transformation is an uncomfortable process. The truth must be exposed, and our shadow must be confronted, so we will no longer be able to hide from it.
