It’s Time to Map Out Long-Range Plans!

December 1, 2023

At 5:07 a.m.: The moon is opposite Pluto, and the moon void of course begins

In the morning, the Cancer moon opposes Pluto in Capricorn, provoking intense emotions. Fears or anxieties disturb our sense of security, as someone may now try to exploit us. Alternatively, a loved one or family member could be the catalyst for conflict. Watch out for manipulation tactics and be mindful not to leverage them against others.  The moon enters a void following this aspect that will last three hours. Hold off on starting new projects. Pay attention to what the people around you are saying or doing. Keep receipts in case they try to excuse their current behavior in the future.

At 6:31 a.m.: Mercury enters Capricorn

Around dawn, Mercury enters Capricorn, improving our focus and concentration. While Mercury transited Sagittarius, we concerned ourselves with big-picture ideas. We had lofty, grand visions and asked broad questions that often failed to provide concrete answers. Now, we are much more interested in the efficacy of what we learn. If we discover something new, we aim to put it into practice.  The utility and usefulness of concepts and messages are our focus. Our communication style may be more stoic and sensible, but it can also be witty, sharp, and sarcastic. This is an excellent time to map out long-range plans. We’ll have the enthusiasm of the Sagittarius sun on our side, but a Capricornian attention to structure will make our undertakings a success. Mercury will remain in Capricorn until February 5, 2024, due to its upcoming retrograde cycle.
