Weekly Horoscope: November 2, 2026 to November 8, 2026— Embrace the Shadow Side Within You

As we venture into November, we are once again feeling the intense pull to the past. Whether that’s a general sense of nostalgia, intense dreams that we are trying to unpack in our subconscious, or literally crossing paths with situations, people, projects, or decisions from days gone by—we are certainly in the “vortex of the past.” If you have not read my recent articles about “the vortex of the past,” I highly recommend that you do so, because I even highlighted a second article that discusses some of the “do’s and don’ts” of Venus and Mercury retrograde.

The Energy Profile Of This Week

Karmic connections, twin flames, past-life connections, old friends, and exes may be on our minds or enter our orbit, or we may actually be the ones inspired to reach out to reignite the rapport or find closure once and for all. Venus retrograde occurs from October 3 until November 13 and backtracks through Scorpio from October 3 until October 25. This certainly draws attention to intimacy, sexuality, trust, vulnerability, or even wounds around intimacy. From October 25 until November 13, our planet of love and beauty ventures back into Libra, further emphasizing the need to assess all of our partnerships, personally or professionally.

Mars, our planet of passion, desire, sex, and war, enters pre-shadow at 21 degrees of Leo on November 5, 2026. From now until January 10, 2027, we will notice a slower, more sluggish energy creeping in, as strange situations hit delays and people from the past reemerge—either in our minds or in person. The actual retrograde from January 10, 2027, until April 1, 2027, will be the most intense karmic period, though, and it will occur in the zodiac signs of Leo and Virgo.

Another big moment that has been mentioned in previous articles is that Pluto, the planet of the underworld, recently awoke in the high skies of Aquarius (3 degrees) on October 15, 2026. By now, Pluto is certainly starting to pick up speed—which is why I will be highlighting this transit in the upcoming mini horoscopes in this article.

As for astrological aspects this week, we have a very light week when it comes to cosmic alignments. November 4 is the best day of the week, as Venus will sextile Jupiter, putting us in the mood for pleasure, romance, and joy—but it’s crucial that we put ourselves out there! Search out the fun, fortune, and good times! Mercury unites in a conjunction with the sun on November 4, too. This is the midpoint in our Mercury retrograde cycle and is one of the “best periods” to find clarity, have an important conversation, sign a contract, or launch an endeavor if you cannot wait until later in the month! A situation or discussion from the past may bring you an “aha!” moment.
