Acknowledging Our Complexity

March 8, 2023

At 6:07 a.m.: The moon is trine Pluto, and the moon void of course begins

In the morning, the Virgo moon trines Pluto in Capricorn, revealing hidden truths. Our minds are perceptive and penetrative. We can get to the bottom of something now! Consider this an opportunity to investigate your behaviors, examining inclinations towards perfectionism or self-criticism.  What is the root of these impulses? Are they healthy? That is, are they helping you to evolve, or preventing you from trusting your intuition? We can also use this transit as an opportunity to connect with others, as we are interested to discover why they are the way they are. Striving to see someone without running away from their complexity is one way to deepen the intimacy of a relationship.  Following this aspect’s perfection, the moon enters a short void of course. We are encouraged to use this time for self-reflection rather than beginning new projects.

At 6:44 a.m.: The moon enters Libra, and the moon void of course ends

Just a half hour later, the moon enters Libra, exiting its void of course. Over the next two days, the moon and Mars are the only two planetary bodies in air signs. We could use a dose of levity, and the moon helps to bring lightness into the mix.  During this lunar period, we are emotionally attuned to all things harmonious and beautiful. Art and music affect us deeply. However, we are also motivated to keep our personal affairs diplomatic. Therefore, people-pleasing can be an issue. Pay attention to who you are “matching energy” with, and whether this is appropriate.
