Rethinking your strategy? Reflect and make adjustments

At 10:32 a.m.: Pallas enters Scorpio

The cosmic weather is quiet today until retrograde Pallas enters Scorpio late in the morning. The asteroid of strategy has been backtracking through Sagittarius since March 29, encouraging us to rethink our big-picture goals and methods for attaining them. Yet as Pallas returns to the sign of the Scorpion, we must not only reconsider our plans but our assumptions as well. Our initiatives may be well-thought-out and formulated based on hard-earned wisdom. But we might also be over or underestimating our competition, being flippant in handling secrets or sensitive information or making inappropriate judgment calls based on personal bias. Conflating anxiety with intuition can get us into a mess at this time. Instead of leaping to conclusions, take the time to notice where you went wrong in the past, mainly between January 5 and February 6 of this year. Make course corrections, scrutinize your behavior, rethink your approach, and offer apologies if necessary. This is an opportunity to architect a shrewder, smarter strategy. As with any Scorpionic transit, cultivating awareness and self-mastery is the whole point. Pallas will be retrograde until July 9.

At 4:15 p.m.: Venus is trine Ceres

In the late afternoon, Venus in Taurus trines retrograde Ceres, the asteroid of nurturance, in Capricorn. Venus and Ceres both speak to how we receive love and support, but we can think of Venus as "maiden energy" in this equation, and Ceres as "mother energy." When these bodies link up in a harmonious trine, we can easily express our feelings to our loved ones. Fortunately, the attention we give them won't be seen as smothering or cloying. In fact, we might show care in more practical ways, such as offering financial support. Others' comfort is our main concern. Do they have a roof over their head? Do they have the right resources? If we can do anything to assist them now, we will. Conversely, we may also be the recipient of another's care today.
